CHRISTMAS - Yep its time we had that talk ...

Hey Pretties ...

Its that time of year again yep, the BEST in my opinion i love Christmas so so much it doesn't do well for my excitement mind you ... this year is my first Christmas with my boyfriend and I've spoilt him which i'm sure he wont be best pleased about but hey ho ... i'm sure he will forgive me ... as you see hes hurt his leg and has to have time off work right before Christmas :( poor sausage! ... SO this, right now, me writing this blog post means that its time to get those festive little thoughts going on ... cheap and easy ways to give the best gifts to your loved ones this year.

I'll start by telling you what I've purchased my boyfriend so far ... now it begins with our holiday back in July we got these matching bracelets which were plaited leather and a metal plate on the front saying our star signs, now when he has his x-ray he had to have it cut off as it wouldn't untie :( boo! ...so i shopped around to get something the same but something i could have a personal message inscribed on to, until i found -
 1. Personalised jewellery - www.notonthehighstreet.com i found the exact thing i wanted for a fraction of the price id thought it'd be ... for the bracelet alone which was a very thick stainless steal and leather plaited detail was 36.00 GBP for the inscription on either side it was 6.00 GBP a side which i thought was cheap as they were plenty of fonts to choose from!
i dont have the exact link as they dont sell it anymore boo :( but heres something similar ... and you can pay with paypal too! woohoo - http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/mercimaman/product/engraved-plate-bracelet
2. A jar of notes - i thought of an idea for those couples that like keeping that little spark in there relationship and that love cute little notes to each other and still get butterflys at those cute texts and emails and love notes on the fridge that there partner leaves them ... well what better gift to give someone than a jar of notes, but my partner knows that i wouldnt be me without putting a lil' twist in there ... so the rules are ... he has 52 notes one for every sunday of the year and each note will have something cute on it such as memories, little quotes, things to make him laugh and lots of little things like that ... but ive gone hardcore and even checked what Sundays fall on important dates (if there isnt any then you can just proceed with the cuteness of note writing) ... this can literalt cost anything from 1GBP to 10GBP you can get a jar from poundland, wilkinsons, pound stretcher any pound store will do and then all you need is paper to write your notes on and scissors to cut them up and fold them, i will be numbering mine because i know what hes like ....

3. FOOD - The quickest way to a mans heart or .... most human hearts is food, everybody loves food ... now my better half loves his food and yet still stays as perfect as always (lucky sod) ... but he loves his steak, minstrels, milkshake, tuna napolini (not sure how its spelt haha!) but he just LOVES food. who doesn't ....
so this year i am putting together a little hamper of things he loves some things that need to be chilled or kept cooler i would suggest buying a couple days before or you could get it a few days/weeks before and hide it in a cool box or in the fridge! my hamper consists of the most random things youll ever have heard being in a hamper but here goes ... pataks madras paste (b e a u tiful ), a jar full of minstrels and lots of other sweeties (not yet decided) muller rice toffee flavour, tins of tuna, butterscotch milkshake from tesco & STEAK. ( could be a hard one to hide haha and wrap for that matter! ) its not a big hamper as id have to carry it to the car! sounds like it could get very heavy! but this can cost anything between £20-£50 it depends what you put in there and it doesn't just have to be food which brings me to my next idea ...

4. Little box of goodies - You can get all sorts of 'make it yourself' gift ideas but one of my favorite's that i do for pretty much everyone is my 'Little box of goodies' this consists of there favorite things whether it be food or clothes, jewellery, shoes, makeup, music ... it can be anything! that's the best bit ... For my mum this year i have ... some jewellery my mum is very classic, timeless and simple ... so this year i purchased a lovely necklace from a jewellers in my local town that hand makes jewelry, as im already spoiling her for her birthday i thought it best to keep it simple for Christmas but if i had the money i would get a kate spade pendant necklace or something from tiffanys or swarovski!
For children ... as i do have cousins that are still very little and my boyfriend has neices ... i purchased alot of things from poundland it sounds cheap i know but children get given so much at christmas that some things dont even get a look in and id rather spend £20 on loads of little things i know they like than one toy which might not get played with or might break or they grow out of quite quick ... so i thought ahead and whilst browsing through poundland i went crazy! i bought dress up outfits and accessories, drawing pads and kits with paints, drawing pencils and stencils and what not ... i also got all of them a christmas activity pack which had little reindeers and santas you could make out of play doe and little fluffy bobbles and glitter to paint your own christmas scene!
& for the male species i bought GADGETS AND GIZMO'S - and socks! yes socks ... men need socks they may not admit it but they go through them like they're going out of fashion ...
first of all - Daddykins' - i bought him socks ;), some thermal gloves, a flask as he loves his tea at work, some reading glasses to carry round with him in a little box, a mini first aid kit haha! as he has very dry skin and it breaks alot :( ... his fave magazines which is XBOX erghh, and photography ... admitedly these dont fit in a box unless its A4 size which i got from a UK store called DUNELM MILLS ... i also got him mini teabags and sachets of hot chocolate so he never runs out, i got a mini screwdriver kit and when i say mini i mean like the size of a playing card! :) so cute! ... i also bought him maynards wine gums .. dear jesus ... this man could live off of those bloody things!

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan are my fingers tired its 2.00 in the mornin here in the UK and ima going ta bed y'all :) i will write episode 2 of my christmas gift guides with a few do it yourself for those fashionista's in your life ;)

night pretties xoxo victoria
